Hello, Sarah. This is Kelly from West Virginia. I have a number of children that love graphic novels. What is your recommendation for graphic novels for middle schoolers and older? Thank you so much for your help. I always appreciate and trust your recommendations.

I also really love using graphic novels so that everyone can learn together at our house. Older kids are working through the classics in the original way and younger kids have access to the same stories through adaptations, and we love to have these kinds of books. Like I said, Marcia Williams books are great to put in morning time baskets because then everyone can have access to the stories.
So I think if kids are intimidated by the idea of some of those big stories and classics, graphic novels can be a way to introduce them to the story and then it becomes familiar and then it totally removes that intimidation factor.
Rar support is necessary in the case that the eBook uses rar as compression, which happens quite often in comic books (cbr extension). Calibre 3 has split out rar support into a dynamically loaded module, so what needs to be done is packaging it. I have prepared a package for the Python library unrardll which allows Calibre to read rar-compressed ebooks, but it depends on the unrar shared library, which unfortunately is not built in Debian. I have sent a patch to fix this to the maintainer, see bug 720051, but without reaction from the maintainer.

I love books about celebrating yourself because I feel like children are most able to accept and appreciate others when they love and appreciate themselves. Children who feel badly about themselves are not usually able to celebrate their peers with kindness and respect. So a strong sense of self and recognition that God uniquely created them, it provides that foundation for the self assurance that they need to have to love others well. So I love these books and I do have a bunch of recommendations for these.

Yeah, I can remember my son asking, when he was younger and we were starting out with some math stuff, why he needed to know certain math concepts, and I noticed that was only happening with math. He was inherently fascinated by history. He loves stories. He loves science because kids want to know how things work. He loves nature and art and music, but why did he have to know what 475 watermelons minus 231 watermelons equaled? When would he ever encounter that kind of thing in real life? 2ff7e9595c
